West and East Greenwich neighbourhood management project – stage 2 consultation

We want to create a safer and healthier environment for residents and businesses in West and East Greenwich.

We want to improve our transport network, to ensure it provides safe and attractive travel options for everyone and reduce the negative impacts that traffic can create in the neighbourhood.

Earlier this year, we consulted with residents, businesses, community groups and schools to help shape proposals for each area.

Our consultation gave people the opportunity to tell us what they thought about safety and congestion in the area, and to suggest ideas that could help reduce traffic, improve air quality and make it safer and easier for people to walk, wheel, cycle and scoot through the area.

Read more about the first stage of consultation here.

You can download our reports below on the outcomes of the consultation, which received over 5,000 responses.

What happens next?

Following the consultation, we will consider the feedback received to date, including that received during the earlier trial and Stage 1, before selecting what measures to trial in each neighbourhood in 2024. There will be more opportunities to give feedback during any proposed trial.
